2010 Race
Sunday, June 27th 10.30am
Yes., it’s back….. the same great, challenging course, hopefully with the sunshine once again but with a few less degrees C!
Online Registration Now Open!
This year we are offering a choice of reward for your efforts, of medals or T-shirts. We’re busy working on the design of the elite athlete’s must have garment: the “I Tamed the Toad” T-shirt. To get your hands on one you need to enter by May 8th, (to allow for production), entrants thereafter will receive medals.
New for this year, we will also be using Chip Timing
We had 400 entries last year and given the feedback and power of the word of mouth we’re expecting our 600 limit to be reached quickly, so we advise you enter early.
Thanks for all the positive comments we received following last year’s inaugural event. For those of you who didn’t make it, see what the runners had to say on Runner’s World and take a look at the results and photos.
Building on the feedback, there’ll be more toilets next to the start on the green, in addition to those in the village hall.
The course record stands at 36:33 by Chris Dettmar and Sam Amend has set the ladies’ benchmark at 41:21.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 and winners of the vets (40+) and Super Vets (50+) in both the men’s and ladies’ races.
